FOS-A™ Fixed Oil Suspension Vehicle (Unsweetened)
FOS-A™ Fixed Oil Suspension is our version of the traditional anhydrous fixed oil suspension vehicle that has excellent suspending properties and still widely used in compounding today. With a long history as a simple yet dependable oral grade suspension vehicle, FOS-A™ is suitable for numerous oral suspension applications, including oil-filled capsules, veterinary compounds, and sublingual preparations. Utilizes Almond Oil, NF (Sweet), Colloidal Silicon Dioxide, NF, and Butylated Hydroxytoluene, NF (Preservative/anti-oxidant). Gluten-free, non-GMO/Vegan compliant.
Oil based vehicles can help coat bitter drug particles improving palatability. Our expanding line of oil- soluble flavors, sweeteners, and proprietary Bitter-Bloc WS/OS Liquid Concentrate can also be incorporated to further improve a prescription’s palatability.

Do you provide expiry dates and Certificates of Analysis?
Compounding Chemicals is a TGA licenced supplier. We ship all chemicals with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and adequate / long expiry on all material. If material is short dated, our customer service team will contact you prior to shipping to confirm. Most items have the expiry date and Certificate of Analysis available on our website for your convenience.
