Polysorbate 80 is a non-iconic surfactant and emulsifier often used in foods and cosmetics with a wide range of hydrophilic characteristics and is commonly used in "oil-in-water" emulsions as an emulsifying agent. It can be uses individually or in combination with other hydrophobic emulsifiers. It is a viscous, water-soluble yellow liquid with an HLB value of 15.

Compounding Chemicals is a TGA licenced supplier. We ship all chemicals with a Certificate of Analysis (COA) and adequate / long expiry on all material. If material is short dated, our customer service team will contact you prior to shipping to confirm. Most items have the expiry date and Certificate of Analysis available on our website for your convenience.
