Tablet Triturate Molds, Hard-Coated (300 Cavities)

Two-piece, 300 cavity molds designed for compounding tablet triturates or troches. Each mold consists of a base plate with alignment pegs and a top plate with corresponding holes. To make tablets, place the top plate on an Ointment Slab, Glass (SKU: E0595-00) or a glass pill tile, then fill the holes evenly with tablet paste using a hard rubber spatula to compress the mixture. When the paste has hardened, slide the mold off the edge of the slab, align the top plate alignment holes (left and right sides) over the base plate alignment pegs (left and right sides). Press down to punch out the tablets from the top plate. Allow the tablets to dry and harden.
Made of durable, corrosion, and wear-resistant hard-coated aluminum, the hard coat is far superior to other "anodized" molds on the market in terms of scratch resistance, durability, and general use surface wear. Dishwasher safe. Available in three sizes: 60 mg, 100 mg, and 200 mg. All are 6" x 12" (15.2 cm x 30.5 cm). Patent pending.

Recommended Cleaning Method:
Clean by hand with Relianox™ Critical Cleaning Liquid Detergent (SKU: P3023).
Hard-coated aluminum may be cleaned in an automatic dishwasher using mild detergents. Not recommended to use heavy acidic or caustic cleaning solutions. Do not clean with abrasive cloth, gritty materials, or steel wool. Use only plastic brushes or nylon/non-abrasive pads.
Isopropyl Alcohol Cleaning & Drying: May be cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. Wipe with a cloth dipped in isopropyl alcohol, then immediately wipe dry with a clean cloth. May be dried in a hot air oven or using a portable hair dryer.
Autoclave safe. May be slight color variations from lot to lot.
